It is New Brunswick’s fourth largest city with a population of 18,500 and is the service centre of Northumberland County.  This city is rich with festivals, activities and events year-round including the Miramichi Salmon Classic, Pond Hockey Tournaments, and more traditional family oriented festivals.

About an hour and half south of your property is the city of Moncton with a population of 120,000.  This city is highlighted by great recreational opportunities, schools, Universite de Moncton, International Airport and many employment opportunities that have helped to create a thriving city that has seen a net in-migration and a dramatic increase in the housing and construction market over the past several years.

Kouchibougac National Park is an hour away with over 60 km or 37.5 miles of cycling paths for hikers and cyclist, canoeing, kayaking, bird watching, sand dunes and beaches, as well as cross country skiing, snowshoeing and tobogganing in winter.  This National Park established in 1969 protects the habitat of the many species of plants and wildlife along the shores of the Kouchibouguac River and waters of the Northumberland Strait.

Getting here is easy. From Chatham on New Brunswick HWY 11 cross the Centennial Bridge over the Miramichi River. Take exit 179 for King George Highway West through Miramichi to Newcastle Boulevard North to Beaverbrook Road. Turn right on Beaverbrook Road and follow for 8 minutes North (9.2 kilometers) to your land on the left. Land survey and subdivision to be completed in Fall 2021.
