Selective tree harvesting was carried out on this parcel in Fall 2007. Many stands of mixed birch and fir trees remain standing and a large group of mature firs at the northerly (at riverside) end remain standing. The parcel is relatively easy to walk, given the open harvested areas. A large open meadow acreage neighbors this parcel on its easterly side.

For the outdoorsman and adventurer there are thousands of acres of Government Wilderness Land and endless miles of trails to be explored by vehicle, foot, 4-wheel drive and snowmobile. Hunting for Moose, Black Bear and small game is excellent and the area is rumored to be some of the best White-Tail Deer hunting in all of New Brunswick.

The Canaan River and Washademoak Lake offers great fishing for perch, bass, whitefish and pickerel. Washademoak Lake is just a short drive west from your lot.

Setting is rural but within very convenient driving distance from Moncton and Fredericton; two of the larger urban centres in New Brunswick. From Moncton, it’s a short drive west along the TransCanada Highway (HWY 2) towards Salisbury, taking exit 433 onto Highway 112. Continue west on HWY 112 for 38.0 kilometers (23.6 miles) to Cherryvale Road on left. Cross the Clark’s Covered Bridge over Canaan River followed by a left onto Cherryvale Road.
