Covey Lake can be easily reached throughout the year and is just a short drive from Halifax and the Halifax International Airport. From the Airport drive south on Highway 102, 32 kilometres (20 miles), exiting onto Highway 103 toward Peggy’s Cove, South Shore, Yarmouth. Continue west on Highway 103 and take EXIT 11 to Blockhouse, continuing on Route 325 from Blockhouse toward Bridgewater for 4.9 kilometres (3.0 miles) to the Kit-Kat Midway Supply Store. Take a left here onto Hirtle road and drive just 2.0 km (1.2 miles) to East Covey Lake Road on your right. Just a few hundred feet further on Hirtle Road is Lot 72, clearly marked at roadside with a lot sign.
